Opus 1021-B pipe organ ( https://pipeorgandatabase.org/instruments/4899 ), an historical example of the king of instruments in its 101st year, and two dynamic and exciting talents, Dr. Gregg Redner and Mr. Aaron Dimoff, to make it roar!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlayA Century of Casavant – Aaron Dimoff Promotes\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGregg Redner\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Gregg Redner\n\n\n\nMusic in Middle Grey is delighted and proud to welcome Dr. Gregg Redner, Juilliard trained, world renowned organist, pianist, and Director of Music at Metropolitan United Church in London, Ontario since 2001, Canada’s largest church music program.\n\n\n\nDr. Redner’s time in New York City included Doctorates in Organ and Harpsichord from the Juilliard School, studying under Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copeland, international music awards, diplomas and honours too numerous to list, including music, philosophy and religion studies at Columbia University. He presently serves on the Advisory Committee of the National College of Music in the UK. The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) in its Honorary Awards 2025 has named Dr. Redner as an Associate (ARSCM) for his outstanding contributions to church music.\n\n\n\n\n\nGregg and Aaron join together in performing melodies and transcriptions from the world of classical, folk, and sacred music for organ and voice from Percy Whitlock, Gerald Finzi, Leo Sowerby, J.S.Bach, Heinrich Schutz, Aaron Copland, and Felix Mendelssohn in the brilliant acoustical space that is Annesley United Church.\n\n\n\nAaron Dimoff\n\n\n\nAaron Dimoff comes to us with an impressive vocal history of performances in prominent opera roles, La Traviata and Rigoletto with the Edmonton Opera, Tosca with the Calgary Opera, where he was Artist in Residence for two years, as well as Le Nozze di Figaro, and Le Portrait de Manon. His much sought after bass-baritone rings out in powerhouse performances both in Canada and internationally. He will be performing in the Calgary Civic Symphony’s production of Carl Orff’s thundering Carmina Burana in the fall.\n\n\n\nAaron Dimoff\n\n\n\nAaron thrives on forming connections with his audience, and promoting music and talent in Ontario, where young voices and musicians can take advantage of the incredible spaces, like ours, that exist in both small and large centres.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“I’m very excited to perform with Middle Grey at Annesley.
