If you love acoustic guitar, then this is a Sunday evening event not to miss!
Original classical and traditional Flamenco guitar compositions written and performed by Gary Santucci. Gary’s guitar music is a meld of many different influences; Spanish classical & flamenco, Euro-jazz, Blues, American jazz, concerto, fugues, classical Urdu Indian ”ragas” and even The Beatles; genres fusion in the truest sense of the word!
Gary has been creating arts venues for many years; achieving many cultural arts awards along the way (Best Classical Musician 1981, Hamilton LifeTime Achievement Award 2008); Artistic Director (The Pearl Company); creating international ensembles everywhere. He is a musical artist as well as playwright, poet, actor and production genius. The latest theatrical event, The Sacrifice Zone/Code RED is a one-man show juxtaposing Odysseus and a modern day urban street crime scenario very creative, provocative work! Also, Gary’s passion for tapas – small Spanish-influenced offerings of Mediterranean specialties – is morphing into intimate, catered get-togethers
Gary trained with classical and Flamenco Maestroes Patricio Galindo Sanchez and Juan Fenollosa in Valencia, Spain before returning to Hamilton where he performed as a concert musician, taught, gathered local artists and activists via McMaster Radio to promote interdisciplinary artistic collaborations.
Feel the soul in every string. Gary Santucci pours heart into Santucci Solo – jazz, blues, pure emotion. Grab your moment, hit play, just listen online. No flash, just truth in each note. You can download it and let it ride with you on quiet nights or long drives. It’s raw, warm, kinda makes you miss things you’ve never even lost. Funny how music does that.
